How Antpad works, every parameter, and what you trust.
CASet at launch
10 How it works
- Keys are ground in advance. The service searches random ed25519 keys until one's address ends in ant (case-sensitive): 1 in 195,112 tries. Each key is sealed with AES-256-GCM and waits in the pool.
- You fill the INPUT lines. Name, symbol, image, dev buy. The image and metadata go to IPFS.
- The server builds the launch. One transaction: pump.fun
create_v2with the pool key as the mint and you as creator, your dev buy, and the Antpad fee (0.02 SOL, a plain transfer from your wallet to the pad treasury). It re-decodes it against its signing policy, simulates it, then signs only with the mint key. - Your wallet signs. The page re-checks the transaction first: payer and creator are your wallet, the mint ends in ant, only pump.fun, token account, system and compute-budget programs, the fee exactly the advertised one and only to the pad treasury. Then your wallet adds its signature (sign only, so a wallet that edits the message is caught).
- It lands, or the key goes back. The server sends it and watches the chain. Once the mint and its pump curve exist with you as creator, the key is wiped and the coin joins the board. If the blockhash dies first, the key returns to the pool.
20 Key states
| state | sealed key | meaning |
|---|---|---|
| free | yes | ground, sealed, nobody holds it |
| leased | yes | a signed launch exists for exactly one message and one dev, until its block height |
| used | wiped | the mint is on chain; the key can never sign again |

40 Trust points
- The service holds every unused key. Whoever had the database and the master key could launch a coin on an unused "...ant" address. They could not touch a launched coin: used keys are wiped and pump.fun addresses are one-shot. Keys are sealed per address, opened only to sign and zeroed after.
- The service decides what the mint key signs. Exactly two signers (you and the mint), only the configured compute budget, pump.fun create with you as creator, a buy of this mint, your token account, and a fee transfer of exactly the configured fee. Anything else is refused; your page checks the same.
- The board is our record plus a chain check. Only launches Antpad prepared, then seen on chain as a Token-2022 mint with a pump curve whose creator is the dev. Coins made elsewhere never show, even with an "...ant" address.
- No custody of your money. You pay pump.fun directly from your wallet. The one payment to Antpad is the launch fee, 0.02 SOL, a transfer to the pad treasury inside the launch transaction. Creator fees are 100% yours and are claimed on pump.fun.
45 Fees
- What does a launch cost? Antpad takes 0.02 SOL per launch. On top: pump.fun's create cost (rent for the mint and curve), your dev buy if you set one, and the network fee. Your wallet lists every amount before you sign.
- Where does the Antpad fee go? To the pad treasury,
shown in your wallet, as one plain transfer inside the same launch transaction. No second transaction, no approval, no deposit: if the launch does not land, the fee is not taken. - Why is the ...ant CA free? The keys are ground in advance on our server and wait in the pool. You get one at no charge when you press LOAD; if you do not sign, the key goes back to the pool and you pay nothing.
- Who gets the creator fees? You, 100%. You are the creator on pump.fun; creator fees go to your wallet's creator vault and Antpad never touches them.
50 Limits
- A leased key is out of the pool for about 60-90 s (one blockhash life). When every key is out, the console reports
4 Out of memorywith a wait time from the measured grind speed. - Wallets that rewrite transactions (guards, injected instructions) break the mint signature; the page tells you instead of sending.
- The dev buy is quoted on a fresh curve inside the same transaction, so nobody trades before it.
